It’s the weekend, thank goodness. And kind of a long weekend if you take off Monday which I am totally planning on doing.
Here’s a completely random list of things I’ve been eyeing up this week.
First up, two pieces from Lululemon. Love love love these floral crops. And this “runsie” is so cute – wish it came in a colour but still may have to pick it up. Perfect for travelling, camping and sightseeing.
Also loving this one shoulder tank swimsuit with cut out from H&M. Why don’t they have online shopping in Canada again?
I asked Chelsea Queen forever ago if I could talk about this gorgeous french mani on one of my TRFs and she agreed and then I forgot about it. Anyways, head over there to check out her inspiring mani ideas and nail swatches.
Plans for Canada Day? In Winnipeg, there are always three great options: Osborne Village, The Forks or Assiniboine Park. We live pretty central and we always check out the Osborne Village street fest and depending on the weather we head over to The Forks.
Don’t forget to click over to Lipsticks and Lullabies and enter Rebekah’s Urban Decay Electric Palete giveaway. Also check out her YouTube channel with the amazing videos using the UD Electric Palette here and here.
So, spring is just around the corner and I’m sure some of you are busy like bees planning your wedding or helping plan a friend’s wedding. I got married almost three years ago and I remember alternating between loving and hating wedding planning. It was definitely stressful but all worthwhile when I had such a great day!
Now, I’ve chatted about wedding planning before and I suggested the first thing you should do is get your dress, especially if you’ve got a short engagement. But the off-the-rack options are becoming more attractive. Like these dresses from BCBG Max Azria. Like this $99 H&M option. Wait…. $99?? Right now I’m trying to remember anything that costs only $99 for my wedding and I’m coming up blank. Even the alternations to my $650 dress were more than $99.
Would you wear a $99 dress for your wedding? What’s the lowest or highest amount you would spend on your wedding dress? Or, if you are married, are you happy with what you spent on your gown? Or do you wish you had gone higher or lower? Happy Shopping!
